New Work Selected to be a part of
Economica; Women and the Global Community

"Wok the Dog" is an ongoing photographic series documenting food markets around the world. Charlie Grosso recently traveled through Mexico, Central America and Colombia for the series, where she took a closer look at gender dyanimcs of the market place. Ten new images from the series have been chosen to be a par t of Economica, hosted by the Internationa Museum of Women.

Economica is I.M.O.W's latest online exhibition explores the many facets of women's experiences of and contributions to the global economy. I.M.O.W. is a groundbreaking social change museum that inspires global action, connects people across borders and transforms hearts and minds by amplifying the voices of women worldwide through global online exhibitions, history, the arts and cultural programs that educate, create dialogue and build community. With its unique focus on cultural change, I.M.O.W. advances the human right to gender equity worldwide.

"Wok the Dog: Women of the Americas" is a part two in an ongoing series.
The first part of the series, "Wok the Dog: We Are What We Eat," was part of Exhibiting You from the International Museum of Women
