Fellowship Awarded for Artist Residency Program
The Vermont Studio Center has awarded Charlie Grosso with a fellowship for a month long artist residency program at the Studio Center in Johnson Vermont. Founded by artists in 1984, the Vermont Studio Center is the largest international artists' and writers' Residency Program in the United States, hosting 50 visual artists and writers each month from across the country and around the world.
During her month long residency, Charlie Grosso edited, scanned and cataloged over 1000 new images from her recent trip for "Wok the Dog" in Mexico and Central America. Stayed tuned as CharlieGrosso.com will be updated with new images from Latin America by the end of the year. She also was able to research her next major projects and start working on a children's book idea that she has been marinating on for a couple of years now.
